Organic Coffee Production

Organic coffee production is a system of production which tries to maximize the utilization of farm resources, putting emphasis on soil fertility and biological activity, and at the same time, minimizing the use of non renewable or synthetic resources, with the intention of protecting both the environment and human well-being. Organic coffee production involves much more than just avoiding the use of chemicals in agriculture. At Hacienda Cincinnati we include values such as sustainability, and the safe-guarding of  the natural resources which we enjoy, since we have the privilege of being situated in one of the most important areas for biodiversity in the planet:  the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
